{"id":86,"date":"2016-02-09T14:11:48","date_gmt":"2016-02-09T14:11:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/avbcommunityband.org\/?page_id=86"},"modified":"2026-02-27T17:13:09","modified_gmt":"2026-02-27T17:13:09","slug":"welcome-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/avbcommunityband.org\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the AVB Community Band website. &nbsp;The Band, formerly known as the &#8220;Allouez Village Band&#8221;, was established in 1981 by Robert Seering and continues with its tradition of presenting free public concerts to audiences in Northeast Wisconsin. &nbsp;The 75-member band performs monthly concerts from September through May at the Ashwaubenon Performing Arts Center, the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts and the historic Riverside Ballroom. &nbsp;The band is dedicated to its mission of supporting the values of neighborhood pride, community spirit and patriotism through our public performances.&nbsp; Under the direction of Mike Ajango and Associate Director Paul Oleksy, the band is one of the most popular musical organizations in the Northeast Wisconsin area.<\/p>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Online Donations<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We are now able to accept online donations.
